Projects

One of the most rewarding aspects of my photography journey has been creating personal projects that challenge me to focus, refine my creativity, and push my boundaries. While some of these projects have made their way into public spaces, others are shared online. There, you can explore what’s in the works, follow along with ongoing projects, and dive into past collections.

Ongoing Projects

Landscapes of NoMa

The Landscapes of NoMa series captures the unique character of the NoMa neighborhood in Washington, D.C., through a collection of black and white images. Using both a large format 4×5 camera and a 35mm film camera, the series explores the interplay of architecture, urban landscapes, and natural elements in this dynamic area. The detailed, high-resolution shots from the 4×5 camera provide a sense of depth and atmosphere, while the 35mm images offer a more intimate, immediate perspective. Together, they convey the timeless beauty and evolving story of NoMa. Piano bar in the alley

Past Projects

Burnside Farm

Each spring, Burnside Farm near Washington, DC, becomes a canvas of color as tulips bloom across its fields. This image aims to capture not just the beauty of the flowers, but a unique perspective designed for a large art wall print—displaying texture, contrast, and timeless appeal. I chose Ferrania P30 for its ability to deliver strong contrast and a defined grain structure, while maintaining highlight detail. Shot at ISO 50 with a Sigma Art 35mm lens. This dedication to process caught the attention of Ferrania, who reached out to feature the image in their ‘Film Ferrania Story.’

Future Projects

Little Street Library

The Little Street Library series focuses on the charming, community-driven mini libraries found outside homes, where neighbors can freely exchange books. Each black and white image captures the individuality of these tiny structures, reflecting both the personality of the homeowners and the communal spirit they foster. This series celebrates the quiet, everyday moments of connection, supporting and fostering literacy within neighborhoods through the simple act of sharing books.
